After reading all the latest news about the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations, the business that didn't learn anything from the New Coke fiasco, and the seemingly endless details about the cast of characters running for President, I wanted to go out and commit random acts of pie.
So I did. I just moved to a new neighborhood so I spread the pie around to a few new neighbors and shopkeepers.
It felt good to do something so very basic -- talk to a fellow human and connect over something sweet.
Perhaps it can become a new movement.....
Hope to see everyone at the Palo Alto Farmers' Market this Saturday, October 15 from 8-noon for your own little bit of sweetness. We will have classic apple and apple caramel ipies again this week.
